SOF Tactical GEN 5 tourniquet is a clamp for stopping arterial bleeding. SOF® Tactical Tourniquet is one of the most effective tourniquets currently available.
It is the choice of many of the world's elite special forces and experienced fighters who have chosen it for its ability to effectively control bleeding, for its high level of reliability and ease of use.
In the new GEN 5 modification, the tape has been completely redesigned to provide maximum compression during application. At 3.81 cm wide, the new efficient material slides better through the strong buckle for fast, snag-free operation and minimizes pressure loss over time.

Features

● Durable Buckle. Designed to eliminate excessive slack in one smooth motion, the buckle's shape stabilizes the Performance Compression Band at any angle of engagement. The new rugged Rugged Buckle is an advanced, lightweight composite design that has higher strength than previous versions;
● A contrasting wedge sewn into the Performance Compression Band below the winch serves as a visual confirmation that you have removed all excess slack from the band. This is a very important step for proper tourniquet application and results in fewer winch revolutions required to achieve occlusion;
● High strength aluminum winch. Manufactured from solid aircraft grade aluminum bar, it features proprietary tapered ends and a grip-friendly texture that delivers consistent torque;
● Reinforced clamp to hold the harness. Holds the winch in place until you secure it in the three-ring lock. TRAC provides stable operation in difficult conditions and improves control during one-handed maneuvers;
● TRI-RING LOCK. It can be easily manipulated with one hand and prevents the winch from shifting during patient movement;
● Tag for documenting the time of use.
The SOF® Tourniquet can be easily looped over the limb or unlooped at the buckle to cover hard-to-reach areas, such as a trapped limb, without the need to re-tighten the compression band.
