The ECWCS Gen III Level 2 thermal underwear is the second layer in the US Army's multi-layer system, designed for effective heat retention and moisture management. Developed on the basis of Polartec® Power Grid®, this thermal underwear provides maximum comfort in all conditions, from intense physical activity to static tasks.

This system was tested with the US Army's 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan and has been the benchmark for military equipment since 2007, allowing adaptation to climates ranging from -40°C to +16°C.
