Scorpion W2 (OCP) is a modern updated camouflage color adopted by the United States Army for future use as the U.S. Army's primary camouflage pattern.
This new camouflage coloration will replace the U.S. Army's universal UCP camouflage pattern.
The original Scorpion pattern was developed by a joint Army effort between Natick Labs and Crye Precision as part of the Objective Force Warrior program.
It was then converted to MultiCam by Crye Precision for commercial sales.
The Scorpion W2 variant was developed by Natick Labs from the original template.
The fabric is made with NIR infrared absorption technology.
The fabric composition is 50% cotton/ 50% nylon, which provides maximum durability and has increased resistance to fading and color washout.
Contains a substance that paralyzes insects (permethrin), retains its properties up to 25 washings. Ticks and mosquitoes do not land on the fabric.
The tunic has two pockets on the sleeves with access through the zipper.
