Abrams Gen 4 Level 5 Combat Pants are designed for field operations in harsh weather conditions, meeting U.S. military ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) standards. They are made of Epic Glacier fabric (98% nylon, 2% polyurethane) with a polymer coating that ensures ultra-light weight, durability, and resistance to wind and moisture while maintaining excellent breathability. When paired with thermal underwear, these pants can be effectively used in low temperatures, retaining warm air inside the lower clothing layers.
The pants feature 16 functional pockets, including large cargo pockets with zip openings, dedicated magazine and knife pockets, and other essential storage options. The ergonomic high waist and elastic 4-way stretch panels in the seat and thigh areas provide full mobility and superior comfort. The NIR-protected fabric reduces visibility under night vision and offers exceptional abrasion resistance. Abrams Gen IV Combat Pants integrate seamlessly with other ECWCS layers, maintaining effective thermoregulation and ventilation even during active missions in extreme weather. For added convenience, ventilation zippers in the crotch area allow quick microclimate control during high activity. The reinforced knee area made of Squadron Cordura is compatible with internal knee pad systems such as Crye Precision AirFlex, D3O, and others. The pants also include suspenders attachment points, an adjustable waistband, and elastic boot hooks for secure fastening.
