The Eberlestock ROMAD backpack is a compact and highly functional communications assault backpack designed for real combat deployments, but equally convenient for civilian use, the shooting range, or as a mobile travel bag. The ROMAD is smaller than classic “radio backpacks” (like the FAC Track), which helps reduce overall profile while still providing enough space to carry primary gear, water, and additional equipment.
The interior space is ideal for working with PRC117-type radios: internal MOLLE loops allow secure attachment of radio pouches, holsters, or magazines. The unique full-length U-shaped zipper design enables quick and convenient access to gear without blind fumbling. A separate hydration pocket protects electronics and spare items from liquids.
Externally there are two organizational pockets: a top pocket for items you need quickly, and a lower softly padded pocket ideal for a PNB or hearing protection. A rigid internal HDPE frame and an ergonomic ventilated back keep you comfortable all day, whether wearing the pack solo or over body armor.
A full external MOLLE interface allows flexible scaling of the pack for any mission, and the narrow silhouette guarantees maneuverability in vehicles, helicopters, and confined spaces.
