The Bore Boss is designed and intended for quick post-shot cleaning/running in order to minimize and remove fouling that has not yet cured in the bore. This will help minimize the amount of fouling that will need to be removed when deep cleaning the barrel channel.

Features

● The one-piece dual-action cable with integrated phosphor bronze brush and braided "mop" wraps around the unique Flex-Case Handle, allowing you to store the system in a compact and organized manner. To use, simply flip, feed, clip and pull. Toss it in your bag or put it in your pocket. It's the next best thing, after a self-cleaning gun;

● Quick cleaning/running-in after a shot, minimizes and removes fouling that has not yet had time to bake in the barrel channel;
● Ability to use dry cleaning and/or cleaning with special cleaning oil.
Each Bore Boss broach is selected for a specific caliber. Certain calibers are also available in different lengths (pistol / carbine / rifle). When choosing the appropriate Bore Boss, be sure to check your caliber and barrel length. Please note that some Bore Boss sizes are compatible with multiple calibers (e.g. .357 / .38 / 9mm). This is possible due to the fact that the Bore Boss size is based on the internal diameter of the barrel, not on the size or type of cartridge. The Abrams website offers a variety of broaches, so you can always choose the right one.
No chemical cleaning agents are applied to the Bore Boss braided brush. It is up to the user to decide whether they want to use a dry Bore Boss brush or add solvent. If you use solvent, we recommend using a mild cleaning oil when cleaning the bore. Aggressive solvents can damage the broach and your firearm. If you are using mild cleaning oil with Bore Boss, try wiping the bore brush dry with a shop towel or paper towel after use. Once the bore brush has collected a sufficient amount of dirt from the bore (this usually takes many cleaning sessions and does not need to be done frequently), we recommend cleaning it with a mild soap solution and allowing it to air dry thoroughly before reassembling it.
