The low-profile design does not restrict movement, and the adjustable design allows for optimal weight distribution. By using laser-cut thermoplastic, the company has achieved a semi-rigid girth that increases stability and weight distribution for the operator. The 3” Assault Cummerbund has a hidden stretch part that automatically adjusts to the body as you move for increased comfort. With hook-and-loop velcro, it can be worn over any vest that has loops on the front and back plate pouches. Its rigidity allows for side armor to be used without sagging often found in other girth designs, being only 7.5 cm high, reduces unnecessary bulk and fits any pouch with a MOLLE/PALS attachment system.
