Ferro Concepts Wingthing™ is a new generation universal mounting platform designed for maximum flexibility in placing equipment on a bulletproof vest. Inspired by the popular Wingman™ pouch system, this model was originally designed for attaching knives, but its potential is much broader. Wingthing™ allows you to attach MOLLE-compatible pouches, knives, radios, first aid kits, and any other necessary equipment exactly where it is convenient for the user.
Thanks to its rigid laser-cut thermoplastic construction, the platform provides secure attachment even for heavy equipment. It can be mounted on the side or bottom of a plate carrier, used as a base for custom solutions, or even as a replacement for Dangler®.

Unlimited modularity: Attach any MOLLE pouches or kidax sheaths with a typical hole spacing of 1.27 cm (0.5") — no restrictions on customization;
Knife compatibility: Designed as the perfect base for knives in Kidax sheaths — no longer do you have to choose between functionality and ergonomics;
Rigid and reliable: Laser-cut thermoplastic retains its shape and can withstand the weight of heavy equipment such as radios or medical pouches;
Infrared invisibility: The material does not reflect infrared light, which is critical for users working under NOD.
Installation flexibility: Can be installed on the side or bottom of a plate carrier, adapts to most modern systems with a Velcro® interface.
The kit includes everything you need for initial installation: 4 Chicago ¼" screws, 4 rubber spacers, 2 zip ties 28 cm long (due to the universal nature of the product, some configurations may require different fasteners).
