Depending on the size and constitution of a person's body, in some cases armor plates can create uncomfortable points on the body and result in bruises and blisters.
Plate Comfort Pads from Ferro Concepts are an easy way to add a padded extra layer behind the armor plates inside the armor plate carrier bag to increase the user's comfort. Plate Comfort Pads are customizable in size and are compatible with most armor plates, from small to X-large.
The "one size fits all" feature also allows the user to cut them to a specific armor plate shape or desired shape for a precise fit instead of pre-formed pads. These overlays can also help with the installation of the armor plate inside the plate carrier, taking up additional space. Thin or odd shaped plates can sometimes be difficult to hold in the plate carriers properly, and these pads can help solve this problem.
Note: If your armor plates are 1 inch or more thick, these skimmers may not fit in some plate carriers due to the limited internal space in the armor plate pocket.
