The Gen III level 7 ECWCS winter parka is an army hooded jacket for extremely cold weather.
This advanced ECWCS parka has an original design of the legendary American military clothing system ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System). It is used by the U.S. military in extremely cold and dry conditions, especially in missions requiring stationary location.
The warm Level 7 model uses incredible "Primaloft" insulation, which is known to stay warm even when wet, unlike down, which loses its thermal properties when it gets wet. What's more, the military parka was designed to keep soldiers warm even on static missions where soldiers may stand guard for long hours without much activity. It makes staying outdoors at sub-zero temperatures or below easy and enjoyable, even for those who freeze easily.
