The A-2 is undoubtedly one of the most iconic flight jackets ever created, worn by pilots and crews of the United States Air Force in combat over the skies of Europe and the Pacific during World War II. A coveted item for those who wore them, the A-2 jacket looked great after prolonged use, wear and tear, and a vintage patina from wear.
Cockpit USA created the Mustang A-2 jacket to give you the layered and classic look of a finely crafted vintage jacket. Made from high quality goatskin leather, pre-treated by a manufacturing process to give it a vintage look. Similar to the original A-2s of the period, the Mustang A-2 jacket also features a vintage-style collar and pockets.
Despite the vintage look, this jacket has been carefully crafted for the modern man, with his size in mind. Upgraded features include a signature embroidered lining, a side pocket and an inside wallet/phone pocket for everyday use.
