The combination of maneuverability, lightness and stability makes this boot ideal for use in military or police special forces, as well as for everyday use.
The mid-height provides the necessary support during fast rope descents and allows full freedom of movement during close combat. The upper is made of water-repellent, tear-resistant suede combined with CORDURA® material, which is durable and breathable.
An innovative locking hook allows for individualized lacing adjustments at the forefoot and ankle. The waterproof, highly breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort laminate is ideal for use in moderately wet conditions. A two-layer PU midsole with a MONOWRAP® frame wraps and supports the foot like an exoskeleton.
The ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID is certified as an occupational safety shoe in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012. The boots are antistatic and have a sole with insulation against cold and heat. The outsole is not only anti-slip, it is also resistant to oils, gasoline and high temperatures on contact.
● Gore-Tex® lining. Allows moisture and sweat to escape while keeping water out;
● Closed lacing hooks. Lace hooks with a closed design securely hold the laces and prevent them from snagging on objects on contact;
● Lacing with 2 zones. Thanks to the two-zone lacing system, the forefoot and upper can be adjusted separately. This allows you to individually adjust the boot to the anatomy of the foot;
● Certification for orthopedic insoles. The boot is equipped with a removable insole for optimal customization and, in combination with the ErgoPad® work and BAUERFEIND® orthotic insoles, is certified for use as a work shoe in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20347:2012;
● Anti-slip outsole. The outsole complies with the EU SRA anti-slip standard for PPE, providing optimal slip protection on slippery surfaces;
● LOWA MONOWRAP® frame. Reduces the overall weight of the boot without sacrificing flexibility.
