The new, third generation of Abrams Gen3 Lightweight Combat Pants is a solution that takes comfort and functionality to a new level in any combat environment. The updated version of Gen3 continues the best traditions of previous models, using exclusively certified American MilSpec materials, taking into account the real experience of the military, who test our products daily in the harsh conditions of combat operations.
The key feature of the third generation of Abrams combat pants is a new knee assembly and an innovative system of low-profile knee height adjustment.
The versatile and reliable knee fixation system allows the use of modern, most common types of American knee protectors, such as D3O P12 and Crye Precision Airflex Combat Knee Pads.
The newest knee pad height adjustment system is implemented using a flat velcro panel and nylon tape. This solution made it possible to make the profile of the adjustment system as flat as possible, which greatly simplifies the use of front pockets without creating additional volume.
The knee area is reinforced with special breathable MilSpec 330D nylon, which, unlike Cordura, has excellent vapor permeability.
The conceptual task in creating this modification of combat pants was to provide a feeling of “lightness” when using them in almost any conditions. This is achieved both through design features and the use of American MilSpec fabrics.
The NySpan material used in these pants is a real innovation. It provides unsurpassed vapor permeability and lightness, while maintaining exceptional strength and resistance to wear. In the summer heat, these pants literally “breathe”, giving maximum comfort, and in the cold, in combination with thermal underwear, they become a reliable barrier against the cold.
