Wearing the AcE Gen.2 Winter Combat Shirt, you will experience a combination of base, midlayer and outer layer functionality in one combat shirt. Add to this the air/pac® support and you have a thermally insulated combat shirt that is ideal for high-intensity operations anytime the mercury drops below freezing.
In order to consistently perform at your best in winter weather, your body temperature must always remain stable. Thanks to an innovative material processing, the AcE Gen.2 Combat Shirt has an air pocket between the lining and the outer layer. This creates an additional layer of insulation that provides optimal comfort for your body, whether you are active or at rest.
Carrying a heavy load: The integrated UF PRO air/pac® system not only prevents cold air from reaching your skin, but also increases comfort by cushioning your shoulders and upper back while redistributing the weight of your backpack or rucksack.
The AcE Gen.2 winter combat shirt provides additional protection for the part of the body that is most exposed to cold air - the arms. That's why the sleeves are filled with G-LOFT®, a material known for its excellent thermal insulation properties.
The sleeves also have a moisture-wicking, odorless 37.5™ merino wool lining for improved breathability and comfort.
The AcE Gen.2 Winter Combat Shirt was designed with specific movement and mission requirements in mind. Roll it up for storage and then unpack it, and its sophisticated hybrid structure will fully return to its original shape and condition, ready to keep you warm as always. And this shirt will help you keep noise levels low thanks to its incredibly soft-touch fabric that allows you to move freely without feeling constrained.
Kangaroo pockets with mesh inner surfaces allow refreshing outside air to flow directly to the center of the body to instantly remove excess heat. Don't worry about the stove getting in the way - these pockets are designed for easy access.
Strategically placed vents open in one quick motion thanks to YKK VISLON® zippers that work in two directions. This allows you to fine-tune the size of the opening to better control the amount of air you need to let in.
