The SAM® Tourniquet (SJT) is designed to stop hemorrhages and bleeding in the inguinal or axillary region. Where standard tourniquets cannot be applied, the SJT can be applied in less than 25 seconds, stopping bleeding and immobilizing pelvic fractures.

● Optimal force is achieved when 150 N of circumferential pressure is reached, which pushes the prongs out of the buckle, AUTOSTOP through the precision belt;
● The SJT Targeted Compression Device (TCD) inflates quickly with a detachable hand pump or any Luer lock syringe, minimizing blood loss;
● Two TCDs can be used for bilateral blood flow occlusion;
● A tactile and audible "click" provides clear feedback to confirm proper application and helps eliminate slack while maintaining optimal force;
● Precision-designed holes are secured with the AUTOSTOP Buckle for quick application. Secure attachment with a robust hook and loop system;
● All materials are radiopaque except for the two stainless steel buckle springs, allowing for X-rays and CT scans without removal.
