TacMed has specifically designed the K9 Tourniquet to effectively attach to a dog's paw, which has a tapering anatomical shape. Designed to work effectively on tapered anatomical shapes such as the dog's paw, the TacMed K9 Tourniquet is designed to be placed high on the limb.
It has a built-in traction technology that prevents the tourniquet from slipping down the animal's leg, which can lead to loss of compression. Slippage increases when the animal is moved and released. Slippage often occurs when tourniquets or compression bandages designed for humans are used on dogs. The K9 Tourniquet solves these problems and does so in a short application time.
