Introduced in 2006, the rugged Oakley SI Ballistic M Frame 2.0 tactical sunglasses were designed for combat. The most obvious difference from the conventional M-Frame is the thicker and more durable frame.
The Oakley SI Ballistic M Frame 2.0 exceeds ANSI Z87.1 industry standards for high-mass, high-speed impact protection. Additionally, the M Frame 2.0 meets MIL SPEC, MIL-PRF-31013. All lenses are made of pure Plutonite®, a patented material that provides the highest level of optical clarity available in eyewear. You get image clarity at all viewing angles, which maximizes peripheral vision and protects against sun, wind and side impacts. It also shows a clamp that binds the lens and structure together, providing safer support.
